Program terms at a glance

  • Commission: 20% recurring, on every payment a referred customer makes in their first 12 months. It's calculated on the amount paid, excluding tax.
  • Attribution window (cookie): 60 days. A referral counts when the visitor creates a new account within 60 days of clicking your link. If they clicked more than one partner's link, the first partner keeps the referral.
  • Hold period: 30 days, to cover refunds. A refunded or charged-back payment earns no commission.
  • Minimum payout: $20, Affitor's minimum, combined across all the programs you promote there.
  • Payouts: made by Affitor to the payout method you set up there.
  • Approval: we review each application.
  • Who counts: new customers only. Existing accounts, your own accounts and visitors whose browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track aren't credited.

What you can earn

Twenty percent of our list prices (see Plans). The amount is lower if a customer uses a promotion code.

  • Pro monthly ($12): $2.40 a month, up to $28.80
  • Pro yearly ($120): $24.00
  • Agency monthly ($49): $9.80 a month, up to $117.60
  • Agency yearly ($490): $98.00

Who it suits

Web development and WordPress blogs, agency and freelancer communities, hosting and website-management content, and security-awareness newsletters. Developers and site owners tend to choose Pro, and agencies managing client sites choose Agency.

How to describe the product

Prime Dev Force checks the parts of a website's security anyone can see from the outside: HTTPS and redirects, the TLS certificate, security headers, DNS, and email authentication. Every finding shows its evidence and comes with a ranked fix list. There's a free check with no sign-up, and What we check lists every check and its limits.

  • Be accurate. Don't say it makes a site "secure", "protected", "compliant" or "hack-proof". Don't say it's a penetration test, scans behind a login, or comes with a guarantee.
  • No fear tactics. No fake security alerts or "your site has been hacked" messages, and no spam.
  • Disclose it. Say clearly that you earn a commission, as the rules where you and your audience are require.

How tracking works

Your partner link points to any page on primedevforce.com with ?via= and your code. When a visitor arrives through it, our server records the visit with Affitor and keeps a cookie in their browser for the attribution window. When that visitor creates an account and pays, the payment is credited to you. No third-party script runs on our pages. Details are in our privacy notice.
