Terms of use
Draft. These terms have not been reviewed by a lawyer and must be reviewed before public launch. Updated 29 October 2026.
1. The service
Prime Dev Force Security Check ("the service") offers a free external check of a domain's publicly observable configuration, and a free monitoring beta: scheduled checks of domains you've proved you own, an optional server agent that you install, a review of your own Cloudflare settings, and an optional status badge. Beta features may change or end; we'll give notice first.
2. Acceptable use
- Only scan domains you own or are authorized to assess.
- Don't automate scans to get around rate limits, use the service to map third parties' infrastructure, or interfere with the service.
- Don't use results to mislead others, for example by claiming a site is "certified secure".
3. No warranty
Reports describe what our checks observed at the time of the scan. They may be incomplete or wrong, and a report with no findings does not mean a site is secure or compliant with any standard. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
4. Your changes
Remediation steps are general guidance. You are responsible for changes you make to your DNS, servers or email configuration. Test changes and keep backups. Email DNS changes in particular can stop legitimate mail if made incorrectly.
5. Changes you approve
- The server agent and the Cloudflare integration change nothing until you approve each change. By approving, you confirm you're authorized to change that server or Cloudflare account.
- Quarantine, file restore and Cloudflare changes record the previous state and can be undone. They can still break a site, for example if a quarantined file was needed. Keep your own backups.
- Malware detection looks for known patterns. It can miss malware and can flag legitimate files. Review each finding before approving an action.
6. Keys and the status badge
Keep your sign-in accounts, any account key and your agent keys secure; we can't recover a lost key. The status badge shows the result of our limited checks on a given date. Don't present it as a certification, guarantee or seal of security.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Prime Dev Force is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
8. Paid plans and billing
- Plans and prices are shown on the plans page and in the dashboard before you pay. Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until cancelled.
- Payments are handled by Stripe on its own pages; we never see or store your card details. Purchases are sold through Link (Stripe's merchant of record service), which charges you, adds any sales tax or VAT that applies in your country, sends receipts and invoices, and may help with payment questions.
- Cancel any time in Plan & billing → Manage billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, then the account returns to Free. If the account then has more websites than Free allows, the extra ones stay in your account but aren't monitored until you upgrade again or choose which one to monitor. History older than 90 days is deleted 30 days after the change.
- Refunds: ask within 14 days of a charge and we'll refund it. Switching to a higher plan is charged straight away for the rest of the period; switching to a lower plan or interval takes effect at the next renewal.
- Failed payments are retried automatically. If payment still fails, the account returns to Free, with the same effect as cancelling.
- Price changes apply from your next renewal after at least 30 days' notice. Founding-member discounts last for the period stated with the offer.
- Deleting your account cancels any subscription first.
9. Changes
